About Us

DFC Events Inc. is a full service event management company based in Surrey, British Columbia. We plan and run customized events for corporate and non-profit organizations.

Started in 2009 by friends and business partners, Shannon Stumph & Jennifer Cowden, DFC Events is known for our attention to detail, ability to exceed expectations, and for those memorable added touches that make each DFC event unique.

DFC Events respectfully acknowledges that our work takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Katzie, Kwantlen, Semiahmoo and other Coast Salish Peoples.

Shannon Stumph (she/her)

With 15 years of experience in the marketing and event planning industry, Shannon brings creative solutions to each event. From elaborate celebrations for two to conferences hosting hundreds of delegates. Shannon’s portfolio is varied and demonstrates her ability to successfully take events of all sizes from conception to execution. With a commitment to engaging clients in a collaborative planning process, Shannon is a consummate professional that consistently aligns client’s visions with stunning events that keep people talking.

Jennifer Cowden (she/her)

Jennifer brings nearly 20 years of sales, marketing and management experience to the DFC team. Event management and marketing was a natural fit with her experience. Jennifer has a passion for non-profit organizations, which runs in her family! Like Shannon, Jennifer enjoys collaborating with clients on their events, helping them reach their fundraising or corporate goals.
